Introduction to Propulsion Simulation Using NPSS – Winter Short Course

Course Outline

 

This introductory course is divided into modules that cover the basic concepts and features of NPSS. Each module is accompanied by hands-on exercises. After completing the course, the student will be able to create and run system models using the NPSS® software. The course is intended for engineers responsible for modeling or analyzing the performance of thermodynamic and fluid/thermal systems. Instruction is provided by experienced SwRI staff who also serve on the NPSS development team.

The training course cost is $1,350 USD per registrant.

Registration includes 3.5 days of course instruction, training materials available for upload via online link, class exercises, and three lunches.

Registrants will need to bring a personal or work laptop. Training room is not equipped with computers for student use.

CANCELLATION

No course refunds will be made after November 19, 2024. Substitutions for the courses will be accepted, preferably with advance notice. If SwRI cancels the course due to circumstances beyond SwRI's control, SwRI shall refund the registrant the previously paid registration fee.
